Help us change lives in poor village communities

Providing remote villages in Congo DRC with health facilities

Every year in the Congo DRC thousands of men, women and children die from preventable diseases; but the people worst affected are those forgotten villagers in rural communities, isolated from any kind of health care and lacking hygiene education. Villagers risk their own lives walking long dangerous journeys just to find basic health care.

We know it doesn’t have to be this way, and with your help we believe we can change this, one village at a time.

Our vision at Aid The Congo DRC is to provide rural communities in Kabongo territory, DRC with health facilities and health education.

Help us build a health centre in Mwanya

In villages like Mwanya, walking 80 - 100km to find adequate health care is unavoidable. When your' child is due; when your illness is too difficult for the village’s nurse to treat, you have no choice but to start the journey on foot. Thousands of villagers in remote isolated communities travel these long distances, risking their own lives, as the journey alone can kill them.

Help us change this, one village at a time.

Your donation today will change lives forever.

“When my child is due and the village nurse is away, my wife and I have no choice but to cross this river and make the long journey in hope of a safe delivery”

— Mpoyo K., Mwanya Villager
