Help us change lives in rural village communities
Bringing essential healthcare to the isolated
Every year in the Congo DRC, thousands of men, women, and children die from diseases that could be prevented or treated. The hardest hit are families living in remote villages, cut off from healthcare and without access to basic hygiene education.
For many villagers, getting medical help means walking long, dangerous distances — risking their lives just to reach simple treatment.
With your help, it doesn’t have to be this way,
we can change this, one village at a time.
At Aid The Congo DRC, we’re working to bring healthcare and health education directly to rural communities in Kabongo Territory, so families can get the care they need close to home.

Help us build a health centre in Mwanya
In villages like Mwanya, walking 80 – 100km to find adequate health care is unavoidable. When the baby is due, when your illness is too difficult for the village nurse to treat, or when the nurse is tending to the sick in other regions, you have no choice but to start the journey on foot. Thousands of villagers in remote, isolated communities travel these long distances, risking their own lives, as the journey alone can kill them.
Help us change this, one village at a time.
Your donation today will change lives forever.
“When my child is due and the village nurse is away, my wife and I have to travel the distances. There’s just no other way.”
